Munch - Grab - Haha...Munch

In between bouts of laughter at all the funny faces and sounds coming from my family members - I am a little grumpy too. You see, I am teething now and therefore my hands are always all around my face and inside my mouth. Mommy gave me a neat colorful set of rings to munch on, too. I am getting to know them better - trying harder to grab things. Most of the time I grab onto my clothes or latch onto someone's hand or arm. But I am practicing grabbing toys and blankets, too. Even though I still get in some naptime, I have some trouble staying asleep because my teeth along with some alergies make me feel icky. Good thing I have lots of family around to keep me company and standby with pacifiers.

Little Bugs

Everywhere they are little bugs. The mobile on my swing has a bumble bee that smiles down on me as I rock at the dinner table. My play mat has lady bugs and a big musical butterfly who sings whenever I dance a jig. And then there are tiny little mean bugs that make you feel icky inside. Mommy calls them germs. I seem to have them lately because I get very conjested and especially at night I have some trouble getting to sleep. And tonight it seems like my brother has them too. He is hot and tired. Mommy gave him some medicine but he doesn't want to do much besides lay down with his blanky. Tomorrow he will stay home instead of going to school, but Mommy says he can't play with me because he might make me hot, too. I hope he gets better so he can come back and entertain me with his singing again. My latest favorite is the ABC song. Especially that "elhimenopee" part.

Exciting Moments At Your Fingertips

Did you know that there are these amazing things called hands attached to the ends of my arms, and I can actually control the way they move around? What's more, I can put them right into my mouth and suck on them! And all this time I thought they just had a life of their own. I like to visit people and tell them all about my exciting discoveries like this. I attended a friend's birthday party on Saturday, and I was smiley and vocal with everyone. They noticed how incredibly cute I am already, but I made some cute noises for emphasis.
