And I Do My Little Coo on the Catwalk

I am a long little baby. When the doctor people measured me today, I was a whole 25 inches! That's in the 95% height category. So basically, this means I could be a supermodel soon. Watch out all you other babies out there - I might be on the cover of "In" magazines like Parents and Baby Journal soon. Then when you see me roll up in my stoller in the park you will want my autograph (Mommy can assist me with that).

On another note, it seems I have contracted my first baby cold. My brother Lucas probably gave it to me, because he has a runny nose. Those boys - always something comin' out of their noses.

Over the Mountain and Through the Woods

So here I am at the end of month number two! And what a great journey it's been. I am smiling and giggling and goo-ing more than ever. I like to say hi in my happy dance when Mommy and Daddy come home from work in the evenings. And I am getting more interested in my hands and feet movement. Watch out - pretty soon I will be eating my feet and doing sommersaults - I'm hungry now....gotta go!

7 Weeks Strong

Daddy says I am getting fat, but he's just jealous. I am so round and cute now, because I love to eat and eat and sleep and eat. Other than moving my arms and feet around, I don't really get a ton of exercise. They have a baby gym around here, but I don't exactly have a membership. But Mommy says that's ok, because there is more of me to love.

My awake time has sky-rocketed and I have some fun new things to play with. My Aunt and Uncle and Cousin Mia came to visit last week and they brought me a really cool play mat. It has big dangling critters that light up and make music. I like to talk to them and smile and dance. It also has a shiny window where I can see another little baby staring back at me. And boy that baby is cute.

All Smiles

I am learning to communicate. Besides just cracking up in my sleep, I have started smiling at Mommy and other people when I recognize their faces. My voice is a little more expressive too, and I am beginning to "talk" and coo to Mommy instead of just crying. So when I cry, you know I really want something!

I am also developing more of a schedule, with some awake time in the morning hours, sleep during the afternoon, and then some more awake visiting in the evening and around 9pm. Sometimes Mommy gets tired before 10 and wants to go to sleep, but I am adament about whining for attention. Lucky for her, I am sleeping at night a little better and even learning to put myself to sleep in the crib.
